🛠️ Practical tips

💨
Wind direction

In summer the prevailing wind is from the west — it is easier to ride from Darłowo to Ustka (with the wind at your back) than the other way.

🛣️
Surface

90% of the route is asphalt or paved paths. Short dirt sections in the forest — a trekking bike is enough.

🥪
Supplies

In Karwia and the surrounding towns there are grocery shops, bars and restaurants. Between towns it can be empty — take water with you.

🚂
Train access

Nearest stations: Sławno (15 km) or Ustka (18 km). Bike on a regional train — bike ticket ~9 PLN.

🌧️
Weather

Best season: May to September. Check the forecast and sea conditions before you set off.
